  Huh? I was mocking you. You are a bit slow on the up take I'd say.

  But, just because that particular article didn't mention nuclear war the only reason governments would advise their nationals to leave the country is the implied threat of a nuclear catastrophe. After all, India is a huge contry. There is no way that a border war in Kashmer with conventional weapons would be any reason for people in the rest of the country to flee. Only the threat of nuclear war could warrant governments to issue such warnings. / You Know

  The only printed material I am interested in is the Bible, which my well-worn Reference Bible wieghs about a pound or so, I would guess.

  Whenever their predictions/speculations did not materialize, they resort to the tried and true 'it's a test' or 'this will shake out the weak'.

  That's not true. The Watchtower has never applied Christ's prophecy about many being stumbled that way. It's actually a revolutionary thought.

  Surely Robert a loving God of peace and unity, would not allow for such to happen in his name.

  Are you saying that you know what Jehovah's judgments are in these matters? I would beg to difer with your misguided opinion. The fact is that God has always allowed his people to bring reproach upon his name. The nation of Israel was notorious for bringing shame of God's name. That didn't mean they weren't his people. It simply brought them in line for God's rebuke and correction.

  Please explain to those of us who lack your advanced intelligence why there is a "shadow government" operating in Mount Weather just 40 miles from the Capitol since September 11, 2001?

  Are you privy to inside info or something? I thought the purpose of having a shadow government was so that it could step in in case D.C. got nuked by terrorists? But, the question is: Why would the government say where their shadow government contingency was located? In any case, Washington recognizes, evidently, that it is very vulnerable to a suitcase nuke. And here we were supposed to buy into the whole idea that the world was safe for democracy after the USSR went belly up.
